Pink Friday is the name of Nicki Minaj's upcoming debut album, scheduled to be released on November 23, 2010. If you don't know who Nicki Minaj is, you probably have been living under a rock for the past six months. Her first single Massive Attack left an impressive trail on the charts. She was also featured in many hits with the "big names" such as Usher, Trey Songz, Sean Kingston and Christina Aguilera to name a few.

Her stage persona is nothing shy of unusual, coming from a childhood where she equated being famous with being in a soap opera; craving for the lifestyle depicted in them. She claims to be living in a fantasy world through her alter egos and hopes to change the homophobic setting in the rapping scene forever. Commenting on a recent interview with the Out Magazine, she said she wanted to thank the gay community for being so supportive, and that she wasn't using the Magazine to "come out". During the same interview, she goes on to talking about two of her more prominent alter egos, Nicki and Roman, concluding that Roman is very uninhibited and quite possibly is a gay boy; as opposed to Nicki who is more shy and reserved.
