Edward Horsford will burst your balloon. And take a picture of it too

Edward Horsford, a designer based in London, captures the bursting of water balloons. He describes his passions to be design, technology and photography. DIY Photography recently featured his work, providing a tutorial for replicating his gorgeous shots.

In a nutshell, these shots are made possible by using a high-tech, sound sensitive, flash. It is triggered by the popping sound of the balloon. With an exposure of 1-2 seconds, you are guaranteed a shot; though making them as great as his would presumably take a bit of practice.
