a beautiful story // Tobias Sorensen

Tobias Sorensen is featured in the Beautiful Story ad campaign for Reserved. Here is a brief interview with the model about his beautiful story. You can check out the shots and more here.

Tristan Knights by Damien Blottiére

Damien Blottiére recently shot Tristan Knights for December '10 issue of Velvet. He hand-makes collages out of his photography to reflect on his fantasy land. The models will often become a secondary component to an abstract story in his work while keeping the identity of what they pose for. I find his work rather stimulating as you'll find yourself building up a plot by picking up on subtleties that are but trivial. Check out the shots from the Velvet shoot below. You can also see Damien Blottiére's portfolio here.

a life on facebook // the real facebook movie

Demoreel 2009 Maxime Luère from maxluere on Vimeo.

This short film, directed by Maxime Luère, speaks for itself. Many of us, including myself, can relate to the story here as facebook has already become a part of/taken over our reality.

inspiration / ONE OF A KIND by GIAMPAOLO SGURA feat. LEA T / hercules mag editorial

Lea T, a transsexual model, recently appeared in an editorial for Hercules Magazine shot by Giampaolo Sgura. The Brazilian model is not-at-all new to the modeling scene. She's been favored by Givenchy for their Fall/Winter 2010 ad campaign and she (but not her clothes) was profiled in August 2010 issue of French Vogue. The title of her profile read "LEA, born again...". And she is; changing the modeling industry as she moves along.

Here are more shots from the recent editorial for Hercules Magazine.
