Hey Monday is an alternative band consisting of Cassadee Pope, Mike Gentile and Alex Lipshaw. Their anthem-esque rock sound combined with their videos that subtly mock the preppy lifestyle makes them very catchy. Adding the fact that they were "discovered" by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy put them right into my pop radar. We'll see if they will be chewed up and spat out by the greedy pop culture that we live in. In the meantime, they are very fun to listen to. They recently played a VEVO Go Show, where they put on an acoustic performance at Harvard Square in Boston, without much prior notice.
